A Bit Different Breakfast Pizza

Breakfast pizza is a great way to start your day. It's quick and easy to make, and it's a great way to use up leftover ingredients. But if you're looking for a bit of a different breakfast pizza, here's a recipe that you're sure to love.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12-inch) pre-made pizza crust

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 pound ground sausage

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

  • 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 6 eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned and crumbly. Drain off any excess grease.

  3. Add onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  4. Stir in tomatoes with green chilies and half of the cheddar cheese.

  5. Place pizza crust on a baking sheet. Spread sausage mixture over crust.

  6. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour egg mixture over sausage mixture.

  7. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese.

  8. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until eggs are set and cheese is melted.

  9. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Tips:

  • For a spicier pizza, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sausage mixture.

  • If you don't have a pre-made pizza crust, you can make your own. Just follow the instructions on the package.

  • You can use any type of cheese that you like on this pizza. I like to use a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese, but you could also use Colby Jack, Monterey Jack, or even shredded Mexican cheese.

  • This pizza is great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's also a great way to use up leftover ingredients.

Enjoy!
