  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. In a food processor, process the Oreo cookies until finely crushed. Press half of the crushed cookies into the bottom of the prepared pan.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the softened ice cream and remaining crushed cookies. Fold in the Cool Whip until well combined.

  4. Pour the ice cream mixture over the cookie crust. Spread evenly and smooth the top.

  5. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

  6. To serve, let the cake thaw for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • For a more intense Oreo flavor, use double stuffed Oreos.

  • If you don't have a food processor, you can crush the cookies by hand. Just place them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

  • You can also use any flavor of ice cream you like. Chocolate, strawberry, and mint chocolate chip are all great choices.

  • This cake is best served the same day it is made. However, it can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
