The Frugal Gourmet's Southern Barbecue Sauce

BBQ Spray Recipe: It Really Works!

I love grilling in the summer, but sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge to get the perfect results. My steaks are always either too dry or too charred, and my burgers are never quite juicy enough. I've tried all sorts of different tricks, but nothing seemed to work consistently.

Then, I discovered BBQ spray. It's a simple mixture of water, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce, and it makes all the difference in the world. The water helps to keep the meat moist, the apple cider vinegar adds a bit of tang, and the Worcestershire sauce gives it a smoky flavor.

I've been using BBQ spray for a few months now, and I can honestly say that it's made a huge difference in my grilling. My steaks are now perfectly juicy and flavorful, and my burgers are cooked to perfection every time.

If you're looking for a way to improve your grilling game, I highly recommend giving BBQ spray a try. It's a simple solution that makes a big difference.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle.

  2. Spray the meat liberally with the BBQ spray every 30 minutes or so while grilling.

  3. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • You can adjust the amount of apple cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce to taste.

  • You can also add other ingredients to the BBQ spray, such as honey, maple syrup, or hot sauce.

  • Be sure to spray the meat evenly so that it cooks evenly.

  • Don't overspray the meat, or it will become soggy.

Variations:

  • For a smoky flavor, add 1 tablespoon of liquid smoke to the BBQ spray.

  • For a sweeter flavor, add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup to the BBQ spray.

  • For a spicier flavor, add 1 teaspoon of hot sauce to the BBQ spray.

Enjoy!
