  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  2. Toss potatoes with olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until evenly coated.

  3. Spread potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Tips:

  • For extra crispy fries, soak the potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking.

  • If you don't have Italian seasoning, you can use a combination of dried oregano, basil, and thyme.

  • For a more flavorful cheese topping, use a combination of Parmesan, Romano, and mozzarella cheeses.

Enjoy!

I love Italian food, and I especially love Italian fries. They're the perfect combination of crispy, salty, and flavorful.

I first had Italian fries at a restaurant in Italy, and I was immediately hooked. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the seasoning was just right. I knew I had to try to make them at home.

I've been making Italian fries at home for years now, and I've perfected the recipe. My secret is to soak the potatoes in cold water before cooking them. This helps to remove some of the starch, which makes the fries crispy.

I also like to use a combination of Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to season the fries. This gives them a delicious, flavorful crust.

If you're looking for a delicious and easy appetizer or side dish, I highly recommend trying Italian fries. They're sure to become a new favorite!

Here are some additional tips for making the best Italian fries:

  • Use high-quality potatoes. The better the potatoes, the better the fries will taste.

  • Soak the potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. This will help to remove some of the starch, which will make the fries crispy.

  • Don't overcrowd the baking sheet. If you crowd the baking sheet, the fries will steam instead of crisp.

  • Bake the fries in a single layer. This will help them to cook evenly.

  • Check the fries frequently while they're baking. They're done when they're golden brown and crispy.

  • Serve the fries immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

With these tips, you'll be sure to make the best Italian fries ever!
