Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

I love a good cinnamon bun. The warm, gooey dough, the sweet cinnamon filling, and the icing on top are just too good to resist. And Land of Nod cinnamon buns are some of the best I've ever had.

These cinnamon buns are made with frozen dinner rolls, which makes them super easy to make. Just grease a bundt pan, add the rolls, and sprinkle them with brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Then, pour melted butter over the top and let the buns sit overnight. In the morning, just pop them in the oven and bake until they're golden brown.

The result is a delicious, fluffy, and gooey cinnamon bun that's perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. And because they're made with frozen rolls, they're also really easy to make on a busy morning.

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 20 unbaked frozen dinner rolls

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • ¾ cup raisins

  • ⅓ cup butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Lightly grease a 10-inch Bundt pan.

  2. Place frozen rolls into the prepared pan and sprinkle with brown sugar, pudding mix, and cinnamon. Top with raisins.

  3. Pour melted butter over rolls.

  4. Cover the pan with a clean, damp dish cloth and let sit at room temperature for 8 hours to overnight.

  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  6. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 25 minutes.

  7. Turn rolls out onto a serving plate and serve warm.

Tips:

  • For a richer flavor, use brown sugar instead of white sugar.

  • Add a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom to the cinnamon mixture for an extra special flavor.

  • If you don't have a Bundt pan, you can use a 9x13 inch baking dish. Just make sure to increase the baking time by a few minutes.

  • Serve these cinnamon buns with your favorite coffee or tea for a delicious and satisfying breakfast.

Enjoy!

Here are some additional tips and tricks for making great Land of Nod cinnamon buns:

  • Make sure the rolls are completely thawed before you start baking. This will help them to rise evenly and prevent them from becoming tough.

  • Don't overbake the buns. They should be golden brown on top, but still soft and gooey in the center.

  • Let the buns cool for a few minutes before serving. This will help the glaze to set and the buns to be easier to eat.

With these tips, you'll be sure to make Land of Nod cinnamon buns that everyone will love!
