Payday Candy Bar Squares

I love Payday candy bars. They're the perfect combination of salty peanuts, sweet caramel, and creamy peanut butter. So when I was looking for a new recipe to try, I decided to make Payday candy bar squares.

These squares are so easy to make and they're absolutely delicious. They're perfect for a quick snack or dessert. And they're sure to please everyone at your next potluck or party.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups salted peanuts

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 2 cups peanut butter chips

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  2. Spread half of the peanuts in the prepared baking dish.

  3. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and peanut butter chips over low heat. Stir until smooth.

  4. Add sweetened condensed milk and marshmallows to the saucepan. Stir until melted and smooth.

  5. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the peanuts in the baking dish.

  6. Sprinkle with the remaining peanuts.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

  8. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Tips and Tricks:

  • If you don't have any salted peanuts on hand, you can use unsalted peanuts and add a pinch of salt to the batter.

  • You can use any type of peanut butter you like. I like to use creamy peanut butter, but you can also use crunchy peanut butter.

  • If you want a chewier candy bar square, add an extra 1/2 cup of peanuts to the batter.

  • These squares are also great for meal prepping. Make them ahead of time and store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When you're ready to eat, simply reheat them in the oven or microwave.

Enjoy!
