Souped-Up Veggie Dip

I love veggie dip. It's the perfect snack for parties, potlucks, or just a lazy night at home. But sometimes, regular veggie dip can be a little boring. That's why I like to "soup it up" with some extra ingredients.

Here's my favorite recipe for souped-up veggie dip:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as basil, parsley, or chives)

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients.

  2. Mix until well blended.

  3. Serve with your favorite vegetables.

Tips:

  • For a creamier dip, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.

  • For a spicier dip, add more cayenne pepper.

  • To make this dip ahead of time, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Variations:

  • For a Mexican-inspired dip, add 1/4 cup of salsa and 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.

  • For an Asian-inspired dip, add 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of rice vinegar, and 1/4 cup of sesame oil.

  • For a Mediterranean-inspired dip, add 1/4 cup of sun-dried tomatoes, 1/4 cup of crumbled feta cheese, and 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano.

Story:
